Green Chile Turkey Smothered Burritos


  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • I1 small onion, chopped
  • I 15 oz can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
  • 1 15 oz can black beans, drained 
  • ½ cup Young Guns Hatch Valley Green Chile
  • Pinch sea salt
  • Pinch black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese, divided
  • 6 large tortillas


  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan. Add turkey, breaking it up as it cooks. Cook for about 4 minutes, then add onions and cook for another 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add diced tomatoes, black beans and Young Guns Green Chile. Simmer for about 4 minutes. Stir in half of the cheese.
  3. Lay out the tortillas and fill them evenly with the turkey mixture. Roll them up and place them seam side down in a large baking dish.
  4. Top the burritos with a little extra green chile and the rest of the cheese. 
  5. Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 20 minutes. Enjoy
